Nordic Scholarship Exchange 2026 – Copenhagen

Nordic Scholarship Exchange 2026 – Copenhagen

The Danish Insurance Association is pleased to invite you to this year’s Nordic scholarship exchange in Copenhagen. The scholarship exchange is an established collaboration between the Nordic insurance associations, with hosting rotating between the countries. The purpose is to give professionals in the insurance and pension industry the opportunity to explore current topics in depth while building a strong Nordic network.

In 2026, it is Denmark’s turn to host – and we look forward to welcoming participants to a study trip focused on AI and developments in the insurance and pension industry.

 About the programme

The exchange is organised as a study trip for a small group of participants – with up to five from each Nordic country. The programme runs over three days and combines professional presentations with dialogue and joint activities.

 Participants will, among other things:

  • gain insight into how AI is impacting and shaping the industry

  • meet and listen to presentations from relevant stakeholders

  • exchange experiences and perspectives across countries

  • take part in social activities that strengthen relationships and networks

The format is intentionally smaller and more interactive than a traditional conference, providing better conditions for knowledge sharing and dialogue.

 Practical information

The study trip will take place in Copenhagen from 23–25 September 2026. For selected participants, the following will be covered:

  • flights

  • hotel accommodation

  • transport during the stay

  • three main meals per day

The stay is structured as a joint programme, and participation in all activities is expected.

 Arrival and programme structure

Participants are expected to arrive on Wednesday, where the programme will begin with informal networking activities designed to help participants get to know each other. Thursday will feature a full day of professional sessions and activities, followed by dinner. On Friday, the programme concludes with breakfast and departure.

Participation is based on application through your national insurance association. To be considered, you must submit a motivated application briefly describing:

  • your background and current role
